I was approached by an up-and-coming musician, Pages, to design a conceptual brand for herself as an artist and also the artwork for her upcoming EP and individual single releases. After sharing a range of varied conceptual brand ideas with the artist, I worked closely with her throughout the process to ensure that the overarching brand accurately reflected her and her musical aesthetic.
The resulting brand authentically embodied the ethereal nature of her music, featuring a suite of symbols which each represented an aspect of her music and of herself including femininity, duality, power and strength.
I designed a suite of artwork deliverables for use across iTunes, Spotify and Youtube, including Instagram stories and YouTube visualiser animations where each symbol pulsed in time to the different layers of instruments and vocals that made up the debut single, Maybe It’s Time.
